Standard shipping
To ensure that everyone has access to our publications, we have made it possible to order them with free postage worldwide, at least for the lightest publications.
Thus, postage is:
- free for all publications to Belgium, Spain (excluding islands), Germany, Italy, Austria, Ireland, Portugal (excluding islands) and the United Kingdom;
- almost free within mainland France, at €0.01 (the minimum permitted by Law No. 2014-779 of 8 July 2014) and €3 including VAT for book purchases under €35 (Decree of 4 April 2023 relating to the minimum pricing for the book delivery service);
- free only for parcels weighing less than 1.85 kg to Denmark, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia and Sweden. Heavier parcels are charged;
- free only for parcels weighing less than 0.4 kg to the rest of the world excluding the United States. Heavier parcels are charged.
The standard delivery service uses La Poste’s Lettre verte, Lettre internationale prioritaire, Delivengo, Frequencéo and Colissimo services. We regret the discontinuation, as of July 2025, of the subsidised ‘Livres et brochures’ service dedicated to the dissemination of culture, which enabled us to offer free delivery worldwide.
Note for shipments outside metropolitan France and European Union
Customs or import taxes are not included in the delivery charges indicated and are the responsibility of the customer (United States excluded).
Exception
Following a complete suspension of shipments to the United States from 25 August 2025, we resumed shipments (with Colissimo-FedEx) in June 2026, with customs duty prepaid and therefore included in the price.
