This piece is the result of the fascination exerted by the very specific timbre of the clarinet and of the admiration for Claude Debussy’s Syrinx. The idea is to make the clarinet sing with a great freedom of form, while imagining a choreographical movement. This piece can absolutely counterpoint the variations of a dancer, thus constituting a visual duet with the clarinet player on stage .
