This piece is an emanation of the Concerto for trombone and orchestra, La Chute de Lucifer (Lucifer’s Fall) La Chute de Lucifer. It uses its main thematic elements and reorganize them, particularly the long cadenza. Even if its title refers to the original matrix, it is musically absolutely independent. The invaluable advice of Fabrice Millischer, to whom the piece was dedicated, greatly helped to its elaboration.
