For his cantata Mon cœur fait chanter des anges (My heart makes the angels sing), the composer has chosen poems in French by Rilke, mainly from Vergers (Orchards). The 10 poems of the cycle are dedicated to the right moment to create, where the heart of the poet “make the remembering angels sing”. Around the figure of the angel, or of the image of the rose, are the themes typical of the great poet from Prague: the pure movement (the selfless impulse) and the fruitful awaiting.
