Alain Piron

Alain Piron, osteopath, is a member of the Belgian osteopaths’ register and is a graduate of the I.A.O. (International Academy of Osteopathy). In addition to his private practice, he is a consultant at the C.H.U. of Liège in the ENT, Cervico-facial Surgery and Audiophonology departments. He is a guest lecturer at the Faculty of Psychology and Education, Logopedics Section of the Catholic University of Leuven, as well as at the Sofcok (Society for Continuing Education in Physiotherapy). He also teaches in France at the IDHÉO, Institute for Advanced Osteopathic Studies of Nantes. His practice has led him to take a particular interest in the ENT sphere and it is with Jean-Blaise Roch, a phoniatric physician, that he founded Ostéovox, an organisation that has been training logopedists from Belgium and speech therapists from France in manual therapies for several years. He has just founded Phonostéo, a post-graduate training course for osteopaths, focused on phoniatric dysfunctions and approved by the G.N.R.P.O. of Belgium.
